One of the busiest days yet as we headed back into London to visit Westminster Abbey, St. Paul's Cathedral, the Millennium Bridge and to wander the streets of London.
We took the train in from Slough and transferred to the Tube to head over to Westminster Abbey. We always minded the gap.
One of the few lines we stood in during the trip allowed for us to take some pictures of the Abbey and the House of Parliament. We were unable to take pictures inside West Minster Abbey.
If you like architecture St. Paul's Cathedral is a must. While Anne and Chris took a tour of the Cathedral I decided to walk up to the Whispering (257 steps), Stone (376 steps) and Golden Galleries (528 steps). Yep, send the guy up to the top who is afraid of heights.
After I climbed down from the top of St. Paul's and toured the Cathedral we decided to check out the Millennium Bridge. The Millennium Bridge connects St Paul's Cathedral with the Tate Modern Museum. We were able to look back to see how high I climbed.
