On this beautiful Scottish morning our day started with a city tour given by our Scottish tour guide. We visited the elegant Georgian "New Town" with spacious streets and the compact medieval city along the Royal Mile. A highlight Tour was our visit to Edinburgh Castle to view the Crown Jewels of Scotland and the Stone of Destiny. The views from the castle we spectacular. After our tour of the castle we walked down the Royal Mile stopping at St. Giles' Cathedral, as well as a few gift shops and a couple pubs.
After another stop or two to meet the locals over a cold beverage we headed to Holyrod Palace. Since the Queen was not in we decided to travel to the World's End to watch some World Cup Soccer (Football in Europe) and have some dinner (no haggis).
