The tour is over but our trip is not. We still have five more days to spend in England.
This day started off great. I gave myself an hour to get downtown and the day was sunny. When I hit downtown I realized I forgot my camera battery in the hotel room I had just checked out. I had to hustle back to the hotel to retrieve the battery and hustle back downtown. I am still exhausted just thinking about it.
I wanted to see the changing of the horse guard over waiting to see the changing of the guard at Buckingham Palace. After I watched the changing of the horse guard I followed the horses (watching where I stepped) down to Buckingham Palace and saw part of the changing of the guard at a great distance.
On my way from Buckingham Palace (keep wanting to call it fountain for some reason) I walked through St. James Park.
A visit to the Churchill War Rooms is a must see if you travel to London.
Every weekend there seems to be a parade in London. This weekend was the annual Pride Parade. Everyone seemed to be having a great time at the parade.
While I was finishing up my day at the National Gallery downtown everyone else went to the Harry Potter Experience. Having never read the books or gone to a Harry Potter movie I will give you my interpretations of the pictures.
