Exploring Italy and a Transatlantic Cruise Adventure

In late 2023, I embarked on an unforgettable journey that combined the charm of Italy with the excitement of a Transatlantic cruise aboard the Enchanted Princess. This adventure unfolded in three distinct parts:

Wandering Through Italy: I immersed myself in the history and culture of Venice, Florence, and Rome, often getting "lost" while exploring their vibrant streets. Traveling by train and on foot, I soaked in the sights, sounds, and flavors of these iconic cities.
Mediterranean Highlights: During the first week of the cruise, we visited incredible destinations, including Pisa, picturesque islands, and captivating points of interest along the Mediterranean and the African coastline.
Crossing the Atlantic: The second week of the cruise was spent crossing the Atlantic Ocean, enjoying seven serene and scenic days at sea before arriving in Fort Lauderdale, Florida.

I am Pat Moriarty! Based in Chicago, I work as a web developer, but my passion for travel takes me far and wide. This was my third European adventure, and I hope to embark on many more.
