This was a real good day. It started with the greatest French toast I have ever eaten and ended with me trying to get the poorest WiFi of the trip to work and catch the Cubs clinching playoff game to go to the World Series.
It was an early start for the day as I wanted to make sure I had enough time to walk the Cliffs of Moher. If you go to the Cliffs try to get there early or late in the day before the tourist buses arrive. I was able to get there by a little after 7 a.m. that allowed me to start my hike in solitude. As the day continued the crowds grew based on the arrival of the busses.
You can literally walk up to the edge of the cliffs like many people were doing on this beautiful day. Did I walk to the edge and dangle my feet? No way.
The last of the tourist busses were pulling out by early afternoon so the hardy hikers had the cliffs to themselves. I spent into early evening hiking and enjoying a beautiful day.
