My stay in Dongloe ended with a picturesque view as I enjoyed breakfast at one of my favorite B&Bs of the trip.
My GPS told me my route to Teelin would take me about three hours. As with every route on this trip the time to get to Teelin doubled. While I planned a few stops there was plenty to see beyond the planned itinerary. As you can tell by the pictures my route took me along water, up and down mountains and some roads that were more like paths.
I got checked into my B&B and had some time to travel literally down the street to Slieve League. Thanks to some advice I received at the B&B I bypassed the first parking lot and headed through the gates that keep the sheep in and drove up a steep hill to the parking lot by the lookout point. It started to rain as I approached the parking lot and then proceeded to pour rain. I waited the rain out for about twenty minutes and was then able to make my way to the observation area. It was really cool to see the storm activity providing a backdrop for Slieve League.
