After a Traditional Irish Breakfast and a quick stop at Slieve League where it was still too wet to hike - I was on the road for Sligo with a stop first in Donegal Town. I have noticed that when you stop by visitor centers - they tend to steer you towards cemeteries. I figured why not and visited the old Abbey Graveyard and was sufficiently spooked.
The Castle was closed so I walked around town and contemplated the big dent I found on the side of the rental car. Now I know I hit some things but nothing that would leave such a dent.
Sligo
I stayed in a very nice hotel - the Sligo Park Hotel. I especially liked the view with the stickers on the window so no one would walk into the glass. I was not a big fan of the hamburger I ordered in the restaurant before I went to see some live music.
